What is Mystic Science?

Mystic Science is a term that refers to my approach. The blend of ancient spiritual practices and mysticism through the lense of science and rationality.

Here are some of the things that are investigated in Mystic Science as it uses the empirical, evidence-based methods to explore metaphysical and paranormal phenomena.

  • Things like dream analysis, energy work, mediumship abilities are studied methodically.
  • Viewing mystical experiences through the theoretical frameworks of fields like physics, psychology, anthropology rather than just religious doctrine helps bring rigour and objectivity.
  • Conceptualizing mysticism in ways that are logically consistent with what we know of the natural world and human consciousness is key. For example, exploring the possibility of ExtraSensory Perception (ESP) through quantum theories.

I'm all about developing models and frameworks to categorize and define hard-to-explain subjective experiences in mystical traditions like shamanism, kabbalah, Sufism etc. This facilitates shared understanding of old wisdom and modern technology.

Others go deeper, like neurotheologists will:

  • Design laboratory experiments and procedures to measure subtle energies, test intuitive abilities, induce and study altered states of consciousness.
  • Applying analytical thinking to mysteries like synchronicity, psychical phenomena, near-death experiences to find plausible scientific explanations.

In essence, mystic science marries mysticism's exploration of the spiritual realms with science's rigor, empiricism and logical reasoning. The aim is to gain objective knowledge of the unseen through systematized, evidence-based approaches.
